🖥️ Devices & Hardware

The machines and gear on my desk that keep me productive. This includes my main workstation (laptop/desktop specs), external monitors, keyboard, mouse, and desk setup. I can also mention audio gear (headphones, mic), ergonomic tools (chair, standing desk), and any peripherals that make long coding sessions easier.

A great workspace isn’t about the fanciest gadgets—it’s about having the right tools that make you productive and comfortable every single day. My setup has evolved over years of building software, testing embedded systems, and balancing both creative and technical work.

💻 Main Workstation

  • Apple Mac Studio (M1 Max, 32 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD)
This is the brain of my setup. It handles everything from full-stack development and Docker environments to compiling firmware and running local servers—all without breaking a sweat.
  • External SSD (Samsung T7 4 TB)
Dedicated for project archives, backups, and large datasets I don’t want cluttering internal storage. Lightning-fast and reliable.

🖥️ Displays

  • LG 34″ UltraWide Monitor
My main screen for development and design. The wide workspace is perfect for running code, terminals, and documentation side-by-side.
  • HP 21″ Vertical Display
Used mainly for logs, chat windows, or long-form reading. Vertical mode is surprisingly practical—it keeps reference material visible without crowding the main workspace.

⌨️ Input Devices

  • Logitech MX Mechanical Keyboard (Short Factor)
Compact, responsive, and satisfying to type on. The tactile switches hit that sweet spot between quiet and clicky—perfect for long coding hours.
  • Logitech Pro Wireless Mouse
Precision, comfort, and zero cable drag. It’s my go-to whether I’m navigating massive codebases or editing photos.

🎙️ Audio & Video Setup

  • Elgato Wave 3 Microphone
Crystal-clear audio for calls, recordings, and voice-overs. Its digital mixer software makes balancing sources effortless.
  • Elgato FaceCam
A crisp, consistent 1080p webcam—no autofocus hunting or grainy images, even in dim light.
  • Elgato Stream Deck XL
My secret weapon for productivity. I use it to trigger build commands, control lighting, switch audio sources, and launch apps with a single tap.

🪑 Comfort & Ergonomics

  • Corsair TC100 Relaxed Chair
Supportive and comfortable enough for long sessions. The “relaxed” fit gives good lumbar support without feeling rigid.
  • Monitor Arms & Cable Management
Keeps the desk clean and the screens at the right height. Everything’s mounted, routed, and organized—because clutter kills focus.

🧠 Secondary & Support Devices

  • Raspberry Pi Collection
I keep several Pis around for testing IoT setups, small automation tasks, and networking experiments. They’re also great as quick servers or data collectors for side projects.
  • iPad Pro 11″ (A16)
Used for note-taking, sketching diagrams, and reading documentation. It’s also my portable second screen when I’m away from the desk.
  • iPhone 17 Pro
My everyday device for communication, testing mobile layouts, and managing automation shortcuts.

⚙️ The Environment

Everything sits on a clean, height-adjustable desk with soft LED backlighting and minimal clutter. The goal isn’t to make it look like a showroom—it’s to create a space that stays ready for work, creativity, or experimentation at any moment.

This setup strikes a balance between performance, comfort, and flexibility—whether I’m writing Rails code, compiling embedded firmware, or tinkering with IoT prototypes, it keeps up effortlessly.
